Come and study Yiddish at Yiddish Summer Weimar 2022 with the most extraordinary teachers imaginable! Yiddish scholars and native speakers Dr. Helen (Khayele) Beer and Prof. Dov-Ber Kerler will work with those who already know Yiddish on an intermediate and advanced level. Dr. Diana Matut will teach beginners and open the world of Yiddish for you, but students will work with all teachers at one point in the course of the two weeks.

In the afternoons, we will engage in a range of activities centering on Yiddish culture – be it reading, walk, talks and picnics, lectures and interviews, films and plays, singing and theater in Yiddish.

The Yiddish courses will participate in the long night of remembrance for the murdered Soviet Yiddish writers on the 12th of August and will prepare for this in event in their classes.
