In keeping with this year’s theme, the Dance Workshop will explore the relationships between Yiddish and Greek folk dance repertoires, focusing on vernacular dances that reflect everyday social reality rather than known choreographed works. We are delighted to welcome back master dance teacher Steven Weintraub for the Yiddish dances. Steven will be joined by Kyriakos Moisidis whom we welcome for the first time to Yiddish Summer Weimar.

As every year, the Yiddish Summer Weimar Dance Orchestra will provide irresistibly live music. Whether you are a newcomer or an experienced dancer of Yiddish or Greek folk dancing, we hope you will join us!
